MITCalc – Internal Spur Gear Calculation version 1.15 is an effective program to meet out the needs of those who are into working with Spur Gears. This calculation tool is exclusively designed for both geometric and strength designing as well as checking of spur gears equipped with toothing that is of Straight and Helical nature. This application is built in MS Excel has multilingual interface. It supports both Metric and Imperial units that assists in measurements. The interface is as simple as anything compared to other gear calculation programs that will make possible anyone who will be using it.

This Spur Gear Calculation as the name suggests assist in calculation of the internal or external of toothing those are helical or straight. The calculation provides automatic design of transmission using very less input requirements. The entire geometric parameters including rectifies toothing can be easily calculated by it. Balancing or minimizing specific slips, strengths etc. are certain optimization of toothing that can be performed by it. Safety checks and strength parameters can also be calculated by this spur gear calculation. Exact axis distance can be maintained in the designing of the gears plus perfect tooth shape can be drawn from the data. You will also be able to calculate various other aspects like the design of shafts, temperature Rise, checking dimensions and calculating different parameters of current gear. Both 2D CAD (AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD along with IntelliCAD, TurboCAD, and Ashlar Graphite) and 3D CAD (SolidWorks, SolidEdge besides Autodesk and pro/E) are supported by the Spur Gear Calculation.
